A Festival for the Dead is held once a year in Japan.In this day,they were very happy.Becauses the dead are said to return to their homes and people is laid food out for them.Specially-made lanterns are hung outside each house.Next day,they throw the food into river or sea and night the tiny lanters into the water.people watching thousands of lanters drifting away until they can be seen no more.
